Question 1

What kosher standards do you maintain on safari?

Accepted Answer

We work exclusively with mehadrin and glatt kosher caterers, certified by recognised rabbinical authorities. All meat is glatt, and we can accommodate Chalav Yisrael, Pas Yisrael, and other specific requirements upon request.

Question 2

How do you handle Shabbat during a kosher safari?

Accepted Answer

We plan full Shabbat experiences at the lodge — candle lighting, Friday night dinner, Shabbat lunch, and Havdalah. Game drives are paused and the atmosphere is peaceful and spiritually meaningful.

Question 3

What is the best time to go on a kosher safari in Africa?

Accepted Answer

The dry season (June–October) offers the best wildlife viewing as animals gather around water sources. The right time depends on your destination — we advise you personally based on your preferences.

Question 4

How far in advance should I book a kosher safari?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak season (July–September) or Yom Tov periods. Premium kosher lodges fill up quickly.

Question 5

Can I travel on a kosher safari with young children?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We specialise in family kosher safaris and select lodges that are child-friendly with age-appropriate activities. We recommend a minimum age of 5–6 for open game drives.
